Speech Therapy Associates
Our expert assessment will enable you to better understand your child's communication challenges. Our caring and highly qualified Speech Language Pathologists work with you to design an individualized treatment strategy, combining "best practices" therapy with fun activities for you and your child to practice together at home.

We developed a unique program to meet the needs of the children in our community: Circle of Friends, a social skills group for all ages. We invite you to call us to talk about your child's situation and to ask any questions you may have. Remember, we're here to help! Complete Speech and Language Evaluations - We assess speech, language, and communication abilities to identify communication strengths and weaknesses and recommend goals for therapy.

Individual speech and language therapy sessions are available for any type of communication difficulty. During therapy sessions, children are engaged in games and activities that are designed to teach specific communication skills. Therapy sessions are always fun and most times, children do not even know they are learning new skills!
Circle of Friends
Report
Circle of Friends provides a stimulating and positive group experience for children with social communication needs. The program gives children the opportunity to build social and language skills that will help them initiate and maintain peer relationships.

Each Circle of Friends group targets pragmatics skills such as turn-taking, asking & answering questions, understanding humor and non-verbal communication, and interacting appropriately in various social situations.Regarding Circle of Friends: Did I hit gold or what? Alex's group is working on turn-taking, attending, following directions, asking and answering questions and interacting appropriately in various social situations.
Building Connections

Building Connections helps prepare young people for the challenges of becoming more independent and adjusting to the many changing social expectations throughout their lives. The focus of the program is to develop the appropriate social thinking skills necessary to successfully participate in settings such as school, employment, and the community.
