Founded in 1996 by professional guides with a passion for getting people recreating outside, we lead adventures in California and across the globe to create memories that last a lifetime for our participants.

AIARE Avalanche

All AIARE avalanche classes start with the same curriculum, but your learning experience will vary with the course provider and instructor for your class. Our Lassen classes base in our cabin in Mineral, where you can stay during the course. You'll have unparalled access to your instructor, providing an immersive experience.
Custom AIARE Avalanche Courses

Custom, private AIARE avalanche courses, exclusively for you, your partners, and/or your friends. There are many options, from a standard three-day format for AIARE 1 or AIARE 2, or combining an Avalanche Rescue Class with AIARE 1 or 2 for a four-day program. It's also possible to cover the indoor material in the San Francisco Bay area or Sacramento, then spend two days in the field.
