Ice Hockey in Harlem has dedicated 38 years to empowering youth in the Harlem community through ice hockey and academic enrichment programs. Our mission focuses on fostering confidence, leadership, and academic success among children aged 5 - 10 residing in Harlem. We provide free access to hockey training, enrichment activities, and life-changing opportunities, including travel experiences and mentorship. Our programs operate November to March at various tri-state locations, with no prior skating experience required. By combining sports with education, we create pathways for students to excel both on and off the ice.Our partnerships with organizations like USA Hockey and the New Jersey Devils enhance our ability to deliver impactful experiences. Over 200 students annually benefit from our holistic approach, which emphasizes teamwork, discipline, and community engagement. We measure success through the long-term achievements of our alumni, many of whom credit IHIH with shaping their personal and professional trajectories. Our commitment to Harlems youth remains unwavering, driven by a belief in the transformative power of sports and education.

Youth Hockey Programs
