We started Fairy Cakes as a catering business in 2007. While we started baking out of a commercial kitchen, doing farmer's markets private events, it was always our dream to open a storefront. In 2011, we opened our Parkside Ave Cupcakery and bakeshop. We are proudly a from scratch cupcakery and bakeshop, and use only the best ingredients.
We have been featured on Cooking Channel's Cupcake Showdown and Cheap Eats. We are a family friendly, full service bakeshop, and would love to help you realize all of your dessert dreams! Our shop is located in the beautiful Parkside neighborhood of Buffalo, NY. We are a short walk from the Buffalo Zoo, Delaware Park, and Frank Lloyd Wright's Darwin Martin House.

Macaron are available in almost any color and flavor. All of our frosting and fillings and almost all of our specialty cupcakes can be adapted into a macaron flavor. If you are ordering for an event, flavors do not have to match colors- they can instead match your event colors. You can order specific color and flavor macaron by the dozen.
Weddings

Please include any favorite desserts, any styles you are interested in, or any colors to be included. For cake/cupcake tastings, please choose up to five cake and five frosting flavors from the menu under our cupcakes tab. If you would like to try a specialty cupcake, count it as a cake and a frosting.

Fairy Cakes was founded by Kelly, and soon joined by Mo, primarily with a focus on cupcakes that had a from scratch, home baked taste, with a mix of classic and creative flavors. After a couple years of baking out of a commercial kitchen, doing the Downtown Country Market, and delivering special orders, we opened our shop on Parkside Ave in 2011.
Preorders

Fairy Cakes is open for Weekly Shop Preorders Fridays and Saturdays from 10am-2pm, and for walk in traffic Saturdays only from 10am-2pm. You may come in to pick up your order, or call 716.688.0361 when you arrive for curbside pickup. For special orders Wednesdays through Saturdays, please email fairycakesbuffalo@gmail.com.
