Landscape Design

Our landscape design process begins with understanding your vision and property characteristics. We create customized plans that incorporate native plants, hardscape elements, and functional spaces tailored to New Mexico's climate. With 30 years of local experience, we transform concepts into sustainable, visually appealing outdoor environments that enhance property value and usability.

Irrigation Systems

We design and install efficient irrigation systems specifically suited for arid climates. Our solutions include smart controllers, drip irrigation, and sprinkler systems that optimize water usage while maintaining healthy landscapes. Regular maintenance ensures system longevity and compliance with local water conservation regulations, helping clients reduce consumption by up to 40% compared to traditional methods.

Synthetic Turf

Our synthetic turf installations provide year-round greenery with minimal maintenance. Using premium materials from top manufacturers, we create durable, water-efficient alternatives to natural grass. The installation process includes proper drainage systems and infill materials that mimic natural lawn texture while maintaining safety standards for residential and commercial applications.

Retaining Walls

We construct functional and decorative retaining walls using natural stone, concrete blocks, and other durable materials. Our designs address soil erosion while creating usable yard space and aesthetic enhancements. Certified by ICPI for stone paver installation, our team ensures structural integrity and proper drainage for long-lasting results.

Seasonal Maintenance

Our comprehensive maintenance programs include mowing, pruning, weed control, and seasonal cleanups. Trained technicians use professional-grade equipment to maintain optimal landscape health and appearance. We offer flexible scheduling options for both residential properties and commercial facilities throughout Albuquerque and surrounding areas.

La Barge did an outstanding job from start to finish. I needed a retaining wall to prevent erosion in my backyard. Now I have an area that makes the space both usable and beautiful. Very reasonable price and the guys were friendly & professional. Im already thinking about my next project!

This company is fabulous!!! The owner came to give me a quote for rock landscaping in my backyard and a quote for maintenance of the rest of my front & back yards. The crew came when promised, completed the job & it is/still beautiful. The maintenance crew is absolutely fabulous - they are like ninjas - come, do their job and leave. The office staff is remarkable - very responsive and fantastic to work with. I would recommend them highly!!!

I recently had a wonderful experience with La Barge Landscape, Jack the owner was very informative and detail oriented during the estimate. He listened thoroughly to what I was looking for and was able to interpret that into my ideal yard. The crew did a fantastic job from start to finish and were so kind when I asked any questions. I got new sod, planters all around perimeter with beautiful flowers, pavers, a water feature that I love and a concrete slab and path from my front yard to the back. I am very pleased with all the work and the staff. I highly recommend this company.
