The North Texas Community College Consortium is a premier regional network providing high-quality, low-cost, close-to-home professional development opportunities for our member institutions. To provide professional development and growth opportunities through seminars, conferences, workshops, forums, and regular Consortium-wide communications.

The Annual Fall Leadership Conference is the Consortium's kick-off event for the academic year. The Fall Leadership Conference plays host to many of the Consortium's standing committee meetings. The Fall Leadership Conference is the kick-off meeting for the incoming CLARA cohort, as well as serving as the graduation event for the outgoing CLARA cohort.

The Consortium Leadership And Renewal Academy (CLARA) is a year-long regional leadership information, development, and renewal program created for the member institutions of the North Texas Community College Consortium.

CLARA serves entry-level and mid-level administrators who desire to improve their leadership and management abilities, update their knowledge, upgrade their skills, broaden their perspectives, prepare themselves for administrative advancement, and renew their commitment to higher education in the community college.It is also designed for faculty members and others interested in exploring careers in administration.

The Consortium Assessment Leadership Institute (CALI) provides faculty and administrators with knowledge and guidance to create effective assessment plans. Assessment is a critical component of education, but many have difficulty with the formal process. CALI was designed to break down the pieces of the assessment life-cycle and provide training and exercises for each component.

The Consortium is governed by a Board of Directors. A President, appointed, supervised, and evaluated by the Board, oversees the operations and activities of the Consortium. The President works with the Executive Steering Committee and standing committees to accomplish Consortium objectives. The Executive Steering Committee provides overall direction and coordination of the Consortium's activities.
