Dr. Cepynsky grew up in Downers Grove. She received her Bachelors of Science in 1981 from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1985. She started her private practice in 1986 at the Briarbrook Professional Building in Wheaton, and moved the practice to the Shops of Wheaton in 2017, renaming the practice to iCare4Vision.
