Baton Rouge Soccer Association

For over 40 years Baton Rouge Soccer Club has served the Greater Baton Rouge Community through excellence in soccer and physical fitness programming to people of all ages and abilities. As the largest non-profit soccer club in Louisiana and one of the largest in the southeastern region, we strive to set the standard soccer programming and customer service to our members.

Baton Rouge Soccer Club is the largest soccer organization in the state, which provides soccer opportunities to approximately 4,000 youths, 2,500 adults, 1,100 middle school participants, and 600 high school summer participants annually. BRSC Camps see nearly 800 participants throughout the year. BRSC operates out of five area facilities, with over 535 teams competing in various leagues.

Through a successful cooperative endeavor agreement, BREC and Baton Rouge Soccer Club have been able to offer quality soccer facilities and programming to the Greater Baton Rouge Area. BRSC has established and implemented high-quality recreational programs for youth players of all age and stages.

BREC has developed, built, and maintained first-class dedicated soccer facilities at the 24 field Burbank Soccer Complex, and the seven field Independence Park Complex.With over 6,500 members, BRSC and BREC have been the recognized leaders in the expansion of soccer as the fastest growing team sport in the Baton Rouge community.

The BRSC Mudbugz "parent and me" style program offers a unique opportunity for children, ages 2 to 4 years old, to have fun, build motor skills, increase focus, and instill confidence all while becoming comfortable with a soccer ball at their feet.

Because parents are the key in creating a positive and engaging culture of development, which is paramount at the earliest stages of development, each "parent and me" session is designed using core concepts from Tom Byers' Soccer Starts at Home.Our hope is that each Mudbugz session, filled with age-appropriate games and activities, is not only fun for your child, but also provides parents with the fundamentals of the sport.
