I have been a professional photographer in the Denver area for over eight years, specializing in Family, Seniors, Newborn and Maternity portraits. My artistic style of photography is photojournalistic, and my goal is to have each picture tell your story. I had wanted to do family photos for a long time but the idea of picking out a photographer (there are SO many) and then deciding what to dress our family in was just too overwhelming!
So I kept putting it off and off. Finally, I contacted Sarah on a recommendation from a co-worker and I am so glad I did! She made getting family photos done a breeze. As part of her services (if you want her too) she helps you figure out how to dress your family. That was super beneficial to me. As a busy working mom of two boys, I don't have a lot of time (or energy) to tote them around the mall looking for outfits that coordinate.

I'm Sarah, owner of Sarah Renee Photography. I currently live in Lakewood, Colorado, with my husband, two amazing kids, and fur babies. My happiness comes from spending time outdoors, finding a healthy balance between my work and family life, and being present for the important moments in my children's lives.

Those first days of life are so fleeting. You won't get those days back, but you can look back at photographs and, for a moment, remember how tiny he or she was and what it was like to hold your sweet newborn in your arms. You will never regret having those moments captured with our newborn photo session.

My style is photo journalistic. I love capturing families as you are-playing, snuggling, being goofy, and just loving on each other. My goal is not only to capture gorgeous, timeless images, but to create awesome memories in the process. I will always do my best to get that ideal shot of everyone looking and smiling at me.

This is a fun and momentous time in life, so it is important to capture who you are in these transformative moments. I will make sure to customize each shoot to your personality, talents, and interests. Together we will decide on locations, outfits (if so desired by client), and other elements of the shoot in order to capture who you are and provide a memento for family and friends.
