We begin each class with a warmup then divide into stations to work on specific basketball fundamentals, using organized drills and games that incorporate dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and defense. Once the station rotations are complete, every class ends with a 30-minute scrimmage so the students can immediately apply what they've learned in a semi-competitive environment.
We will communicate with the Foster City community once we are cleared to resume basketball classes. Note: If the class has already started and space is still available, you must sign up in-person at the Foster City Parks & Rec office at 650 Shell Blvd. Joe Kaiser founded After School Hoops in 2017 to provide basketball drills and instruction to the Foster City's youth.
