Southern State makes it easy to apply for college! We have no mandatory grade point averages, specific test requirements or other intimidating admission guidelines. Attention CCP Students: If you are a student in grades 7-12 and interested in College Credit Plus (CCP) please complete the College Credit Plus Application for Admission.
College Credit Plus

Through partnership with Wilmington College, Southern State will continue to offer courses to students enrolled in the College Credit Plus Program as well as to traditional students. Classes will be held on the Wilmington College campus this fall 2021. All class offerings are always subject to adequate enrollment.
Transfer Students

If you've previously attended college, or if you are planning to take the first two years of your bachelor's degree at Southern State and then transfer to a four-year college, or perhaps you're a high school student who has earned college credit by participating in a Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO), Tech Prep or College in the Classroom program, then you're in the right place.
Veterans

Apply for your GI Bill at: gibill.va.gov, and send a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility to the Veteran/Service Member Liaison. Make sure to ask your advisor if you can apply for Prior Learning Assessment credit (receive credits for your work experience).
