Metro Steel is a family owned steel service center that has been servicing the state of Florida for decades. Charles Shepherd moved his family to Leesburg, Florida in 1914 where he would later establish Leesburg Welding in 1920. Charles owned and operated this general welding and machine shop until he passed in 1952.
Heavy Fabrication

Heavy steel plate fabrication services for large-scale projects. Capabilities include conventional and CNC machining, welding, punching, and plate rolling. Metals worked with include steel, stainless steel and aluminum. We serve a variety of industries such as aerospace, transportation, construction, and OEM.
Structural Roller

We use the Roundo R6S to roll angles of all sizes and shapes. The design is also highly digital, to make the machine more efficient, for a quick turn around for manufacturers. It is equipped with a high selection of special rolls to achieve different angles. This machine we use for our manufacturing clients is robust for a variety of bending jobs.
CNC Forming

Metro Steel USA has press brakes for up to 17' of bending and the workshop features one of the best machines available that we use for our clients. The Trumpf TruBend 8400 is the latest addition. Our press brake operators can shape a variety of metals with the three different press brakes our metals team has available to work with for you.
CNC Plasma Burning
Report
If you need steel, stainless steel or aluminum cut, our CNC burning systems allow for speed and flexibility. Our Flame and Plasma Cutting Titan II cutting system and Metal Master cutting system are highly efficient. The cutting areas are 96" by 480" or 132" by 360", allowing for a large amount of work space for all project sizes.
