McLean Forge and Welding's long and successful presence in the Boulder community makes this locally owned small business one of the oldest and most experienced Boulder custom welding shops. McLean Forge was originally founded by Barrie McLean who is known as the "Iron Man" of Boulder.

Our skilled fabricators are experienced and able to address just about any welding need. We pride ourselves in our expertise in the noble and "lost art" of hand forging. Steel is our fundamental material of choice, but we can also weld stainless steel, aluminum, or silicon bronze. MIG and TIG welding are both part of our repertoire as we are a full service welding shop offering repair and fabrication.

McLean Forge offers Boulder portable welding services. Our all inclusive welding shop includes the ability to do onsite repairs or installation with our portable welding truck.
