It was to fill a need in the Dallas, Fort Worth, Lewisville and Arlington areas for an alternative to expensive traditional funeral homes (also called funeral establishments). Our team is always available to answer questions about Local Cremation & Funerals, the arrangement process or what options are best for your loved one.

With a main location in Dallas, Local Cremation & Funerals has a team of licensed funeral directors and arrangement counselors ready to assist families. We are licensed by the State of Texas and adhere to all the same laws, inspections and guidelines as traditional funeral homes.

If you want a service that's not listed, please call us. Rest assured, if any unexpected charges arise, we'll notify you prior to finalizing arrangements. The actual arrangement process begins when you speak with a Funeral Director or submit the online arrangement form. Any additional items that increase the cost will be discussed with you in advance and provided in writing.
Simple Cremation

My brother and I want to thank the staff at Local Cremation for their skilled handling of our father's death. They informed us clearly about the cremation process and various options from very simple cremation to more elaborate procedures. When our dad died, our requests were carried out quickly and competently.
Memorial or Graveside

Arranging and directing a memorial or graveside service at the location of your choice (details). I would not hesitate to recommend the use of Local Cremation. The staff were very helpful and thoughtful and made this experience as easy for me as possible. If the deceased is located outside our service area, additional transportation costs apply.
Tribute Videos

Create a treasured memory that honors your loved one. A tribute video is a wonderful keepsake that can be shared at a memorial service or funeral and then shared with family and friends. Share your video with others. Too often we hear that it is used at the memorial or funeral and then put in a drawer or keepsake box.
Veterans Graveside
Report
Coordinating veterans graveside service with DFW National Cemetery, Military Honors, clergy, etc. The Local Cremation staff is kind, compassionate, and professional. They handled all aspects of my father's cremation and memorial service at the National Cemetery. Since my father had served in the military, we chose the Veteran's Package.
