Some of my earliest plant related memories include tasting the sweet nectar of a honeysuckle plant during nursery school, taking flying leaps into leaf piles with my dad and caring for vegetables, perennials and ornamental shrubs with my mother in our garden. And always there were the great forests of the East Coast with their deciduous trees, beautiful fall color and rolling hills.
About 15 years ago, I moved from a career path that combined social service and paralegal work to pursue a career in Horticulture. Although I still remain an advocate at heart, this was a decision I have never regretted. I studied first at University of Washington and then transferred to Edmonds Community College where my goal was to obtain enough skills to start my own business.

Good Nature Gardening's fine gardening services include skilled care of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. Our approach is organic and sustainable, with an emphasis on 'healthy' gardening. Our services include, expert pruning (both ornamental and corrective), weeding, deadheading, fertilizing, watering, and mulching.
Garden and Design Consultations

A consultation allows us to meet in your garden and discuss your goals and challenges. A consultation can address a specific project or the overall 'state' of your garden. We can identify plants and their needs, point out damaged or diseased material and make some general design suggestions. Consultations last for up to 2 hours and you are highly encouraged to take notes!
Garden Coaching

Have you always wanted to garden, but feel you don't know what to do first? Do you have a large garden but feel overwhelmed and don't know where to focus? Sometimes people need help getting started. At Good Nature Gardening, we love working one-on-one with clients and delight in teaching you about your garden.

Bringing flair and beauty, containers are a particularly good choice for a challenging location in the garden.
