Collaborative Divorce
Report
When it comes to dissolving a marriage, the process most people are familiar with is the traditional method of resolving a divorce using our system of justice which is rooted in the adversarial process.

And although the vast majority of divorce cases are resolved by negotiated agreement between the parties, if parties are unable to reach a settlement in family law matters using the traditional approach, the parties must go to court and present their cases before a judge, the ultimate goal being to convince the judge to rule in favor of your desired outcome.Litigation has both advantages and shortcomings.
Qualified Domestic Relations Orders QDRO
Report
Qualified Domestic Relations Orders or "QDROs" are specialized orders meant to divide a qualified plan under ERISA. The term is commonly used to describe these often post-decree orders that divide many retirement plan benefits. People will often get divorced and forget that the retirement order has never been entered; this can be a very detrimental occurrence that should be dealt with as soon as practicably possible after a divorce.
