Scholastic Family Tutoring is a relatively new small education business designed to cater to your tutoring needs. If your child or someone you know needs help in a few things, we are the ones to call. Through us, they will learn how to study for quizzes and tests. We will always try to make sure to teach them how to become self-reliant in their own studies.
In other words, they will be able to do their homework and study for tests on their own on the days they do not have tutoring. Eventually, they will not be so reliant on their tutors, and they will succeed in their subjects. They will definitely be able to have an easier time with their studies and as a result, appreciate their subject more.

Scholastic Family Tutoring was established in August of 2013 in Friendswood. This small business was established to help out as many people as possible. In other parts of Houston, there are many other tutoring places for those living close by. Certainly, we shouldn't let that void continue here! Though there are a few tutoring services around this area, none of them can provide the help, convenience, and pricing that we can give.

My name is Jimmy Garza Jr. I was born right here in Houston, now currently residing in Friendswood. I am quite polite and well-mannered (traits necessary for tutoring, of course). My love of tutoring started while helping some people out while I was in high school. After that, the tutoring was on and off for a few years until my last year in college.

We will not waste our time on telling you that it can be difficult to learn something new. We all know that. We have tutors that excel at specific subjects and can communicate these subjects well to make our students understand and grasp the material better. We also help out your child if he or she is diagnosed with a learning disability (ADD, autism, etc.).
Music Lessons

We are starting to offer music lessons beginning in the 2014 - 2015 school year. We offer music lessons once a week in increments of 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 1 hour. Like tutoring, we can go to where you are located or possibly at the teacher's home/studio. We will soon start offering recitals for these potential students twice a year in June and December.
Pricing

Depending on the subject(s), the prices for standard hours of tutoring on a "pay as you go" basis can range from $30-$40/hr. With "pay as you go, " there are no long term commitments, and you pay at the end of every week after the tutoring sessions are done for that week. If you are willing to prepay for a certain number of lessons, you can get a discount ranging from $26-$36/hr.
