University Translators Services provides professional written translation and oral interpretation services for ALL LANGUAGES. Our services include oral interpretation, written translation, proofreading, stylistic/technical editing, localization, video narration linguistic consulting as well as multi-lingual desktop publishing.
The translators and interpreters we work with are qualified and certified by the American Translators Association (ATA), the National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT) as well as the State of Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Office (SCAO). University Translators Services (UTS) is an LLC partnership located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our agency was originally formed by a group of Ph. D. students from the Linguistics Department at the University of Michigan in 1987 in order to offer easy access to professional linguists for language translation and interpretation.

Our translators all have a minimum of 15 years of professional experience and all are degreed in either a business, engineering, language, law, medical and/or a technical science field. We only work with human certified, degreed, and tested translators. Certified translators are tested and certified by the "American Translators Association (ATA)."
Written Translation

Our most requested languages are listed below; translations for other languages are available upon request. We determine translation cost by multiplying word count by a cost per word. All projects are subject to a minimum charge as detailed below. Delivery time required for a minimum charge project is four business days.
Oral Interpreting

Our most requested languages are listed in the clickable tabs below; interpreters for other languages are available upon request. In-state interpreters are subject to a two-hour minimum per day unless additional hours are requested and reserved. Please submit all interpretation requests as early as possible, in advance of assignment start date.

Please add or attached pages that include any other information related to your request; the more informed your interpreter is, the better! If you do not receive a confirmation of receipt within 24-48 hours this means WE DID NOT RECEIVE YOUR REQUEST FORM. Prior to the date of service, a third email will be sent to you that includes an attachment that summarizes your reservation in detail (date, time, location, language and name of interpreter).
