Chronic Pain Management
Our comprehensive approach addresses chronic pain through personalized treatment plans combining advanced diagnostics with minimally invasive procedures. Specializing in conditions affecting the back, neck, joints, and nerves, we utilize evidence-based techniques like nerve blocks, spinal cord stimulation, and regenerative therapies. Our multidisciplinary team creates individualized strategies to reduce pain levels while improving mobility and quality of life for patients across central Texas.
Epidural Steroid Injection
Targeted epidural steroid injections deliver anti-inflammatory medication directly to inflamed nerve roots causing back and neck pain. This minimally invasive procedure provides rapid pain relief for conditions like herniated discs and spinal stenosis. Performed under imaging guidance, our specialists ensure precise medication placement to maximize effectiveness while minimizing systemic side effects, often providing months of symptom improvement.
Spinal Cord Stimulation
Advanced spinal cord stimulation systems use electrical impulses to interrupt pain signals reaching the brain. Our specialists implant FDA-approved devices that offer customizable pain relief for chronic back and limb pain. This reversible treatment option works particularly well for patients who haven't found lasting relief through other methods, with trial periods available before permanent implantation.
Joint Injections
Ultrasound-guided joint injections deliver corticosteroids or viscosupplements directly into affected joints for targeted inflammation reduction. Our specialists treat knee, shoulder, hip, and smaller joints using precise imaging techniques to ensure accurate medication placement. These injections provide significant pain relief for osteoarthritis and other joint conditions while maintaining joint function and mobility.
Radiofrequency Ablation
This minimally invasive procedure uses heat energy to disrupt pain signals from specific nerves. Our specialists target facet joints in the spine and other pain-generating structures using advanced imaging guidance. The treatment provides longer-lasting relief than traditional nerve blocks, typically lasting 6-12 months, with the option for repeat procedures as needed.

Billing was not accurate, and they just wanted to sell their spinal surgery solution. After declining, they just wrote me off - not dealing with my Chronic Pain. It was very strange as well, every office visit - I was the only patient.

If I could give minus stars I would. Never got past the receptionist. Was treated extremely badly by an incompetent person. If I were dying and writhing in pain I would never even think about retaining their services. They acted as if they were doing me a favor and wanted to get paid up front! Never ever go near this do called doctor or facility.

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. What a joke! I have never ran into more incompetent people than I have at this place. They fail to inform you that you will not see a doctor when you come in. You will see a Nurse Practitioner. You will take a drug test which is no surprise, but what is a surprise is that after taking the UA and seeing the NP she then tells the doctor about your pain. You have to wait 7-10 days before they get the results of your UA back, then if the doctor feels like you need medication you can make an appointment with him and he will talk about meds with you.

The business office staff here is the most RUDE power tripping women I have ever dealt with. They have NO compassion for their patients. NONE. I have been a patient of Dr. Vije here for 3 years due to failed back surgery; failed fusion; chronic pain; severe nerve pain. Sadly he left a few months ago and when he did there has been a huge decline in the way the office has run and the patient care that has been given. I was in an auto accident last year that affected my SHOULDER and NECK not my back and have a pending case with an attorney, I have always had insurance. I have 2 insurance in fact

My mom saw a new NP a couple weeks back. Iv'e been wanting to write a review however, I gave myself time to compose so I wouldn't sound so ugly. To begin with my mom got scheduled in the wrong office and to top it all off no one gave her heads up that the previous NP had left the practice. My biggest complain is not the first two I mentioned. The medical assistant named Lisa really bothered me. She had a bunch of tattoos showing and she was being a bit rough with my mom knowing she is pain. Well my door was not closed all the way and I was able to hear the staff and Lisa has a sailors

These reviews are a mystery to me. The staff has been professional and courteous.
Dr. Manees is great. No trouble with prescriptions. I couldn't help but post an opposing view.
