Lake Trace is the landmark of the entire Carolina Trace community. As you enter the gated community the beauty of the lake creates a sense of tranquility as the cares of the world seem to slip away in this calm and peaceful setting, with seven miles of shoreline and panoramic views of undisturbed hardwoods.
Lake Course

The first of the two 18-hole courses that make up the Carolina Trace private golf community is the Lake Course. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the Lake Course opened for play in 1971. Winding around the 315-acre Lake Trace, the Lake Course's captivating views can make maintaining focus on one's golf game exceedingly difficult.
Creek Course

The second eighteen at this North Carolina private golf community is the Creek Course, which opened for play in 1979. The Creek Course features dramatic elevation changes, rolling terrain, and a meandering creek interspersed among the 18 holes. The narrow fairways are Bermuda grass with the greens featuring Mini Verde Bermunda.
