I had been trying to find a place where I could take my 13 year old niece for horseback riding lessons. I have been to several barns, but after visiting at Cold Brook Stables a few times, my decision was made. The care, condition, and temperament of the horses was evident, and the continuous flow of happy people of all ages around the barn made a huge statement.

Cold Brook Stables offers riding lessons to all ages & all level riders. We offer instruction in western & english. We can plan your lesson to suit your needs & wants, whether you would like to ride for pleasure or in the show circuit. We strive to meet every level of our rider's needs and goals. Horse training is available for all levels and types of horses.
4-H Club

Solids, Stripes, & Spots is a community based 4-H Club run through Cold Brook Stables in Windham County. We have youth that participate in equine, dairy & photography projects. Our club participates in many events throughout the year on the local, state & regional level. Some of our activities include; Quiz Bowl, Hippology, Showing, Gaming, Attending Workshops, Clinics and 4-H meetings.
