A Bay Area native, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of California at Berkeley and his Doctor of Medicine degree from The University of California at San Francisco (UCSF). Following medical school, Dr. Echavez remained at UCSF to complete his residency training.
Dr. Alex Tam's journey to becoming a chiropractor started when he attended University of California in Davis, just a short 15 mins away from Vacaville where he now practices.He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Biology. During his time at UCD, he fell in love with the holistic, drug-free approach of chiropractic after interning at a chiropractic clinic for 6 months and decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor.
