Depot Square Publishing has been in business since 1994, publishing books on northeastern railroad history. We manufacture all of our books in the United States of America. Dealers are encouraged to contact us about any of our titles. Depot Square Publishing also offers a selection of complimentary titles from other transportation publishers, including a variety of books on railroads, trolleys, canals, mining, and logging.
We specialize in small press, privately published, university, and historical society products, but we also carry items from larger publishers too. Depot Square can special order any book currently in print, as well as assist with locating rare and out-of-print titles. We actively seek submissions from other publishers for our consideration.

The city of Pittsburgh had the potential to be a major industrial center but for the freight discrimination imposed by the Pennsylvania Railroad. William McCreery, John Dravo, James Bennett, Jacob Henrici and the Harmony Society, and others banded together to found and construct the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie.
