At Calvert Nursery School, we have always put the health and safety of our students and staff first by keeping a clean classroom. The Calvert Nursery School Board has been diligently working on plans to support the health and safety of your children, your family, and our staff for the 2020-2021 school year.
We will continue to develop our comprehensive plan over the summer using the recommendations outlined by the Maryland State Department of Education - Division of Early Childhood. Students will be screened upon arrival. An infrared thermometer will be used to assess each student's temperature and parents will be asked a few questions related to the student's health status/symptoms.

Mrs. Griffin is our teacher for the 4-year old class. Janna has degrees in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching preschool for 2's, 3's and 4's, Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade. Janna uses her experience and education to individualize the curriculum to meet the needs of the children.
Forms

The registration form is due between Jan- Aug of the incoming school year. There is a non-refundable $50 registration fee to hold your child's place for the upcoming school year. The following forms are required for your child to attend CNS. They usually get emailed out in July to all the incoming students for the new school year.
Tuition
Report
The tuition for September and May is due before the school year starts. This tuition is prorated and the amount is stated in the President's letter in your July mailing. The parents do not need to pay the May tuition, because this was already paid at the beginning of the school year. If you have a second child registered with the school there is a 25% discount which is calculated on the lower tuition.
