Dr. Rebecca Dorsett, a native Austinite, graduated with high honors from the University of Texas. While attending U.T., she was selected as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. Dr. Dorsett earned a medical degree from Baylor college of Medicine in Houston and then completed her internship and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
While at Baylor, Dr. Dorsett served as Chief Resident. During her residency, she received specialized training in infertility, endocrinology, microsurgery, gynecologic oncology, and laser surgery. Dr. Dorsett is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association.
