Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer

Please consider volunteering for the Club! In addition to opportunities assisting with individual teams, we invite you to apply for a Board position and help us bring a positive soccer play and learning experience to interested kids in Santa Cruz.

Open board positions will focus on: supporting competitive team processes through tryouts, livescan and guest player and related policies; volunteer and school relationships, including fund-raising and field availability; and ensuring an environment that enhances positive play.For more information about volunteering for any of the club positions, please contact Deana Rabiah.

There are several ways to get involved with the Santa Cruz City Youth Soccer Club. With such a large number of children playing in the Recreational League the club depends on parents and other adults to volunteer as coaches, team managers, or referees. To volunteer as a coach, assistant coach, team parent, or board member, check a volunteer box on the registration form, or contact the Recreational Coach Coordinator if you are interested.

SCCYSC offers advanced player training programs that utilize different formats than the Competitive and Recreational leagues and teams. The focus of the advanced training programs is the soccer player's individual development. Registration information will be available for the programs when the registration period opens.

In order to keep player fees low, the club has always depended on parent and business sponsorships of its teams. Sponsorships are critical to the success of our program. Santa Cruz City YSC is a non-profit organization which is run almost entirely by volunteers. By sponsoring a team you will assist the club in the purchase of uniforms and equipment, and help pay for referees and field fees.
