Karla received her Master of Science in Social Work from the University of TX at Arlington, her Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Liberty University, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She began working with families and individuals in 1987 through Baylor Hospital's Eating Disorders Program in Dallas, TX.
Her medical social work experiences include ER, Hospice, dialysis, chronic illness, and treatment/discharge planning at Southern Regional Hospital. In 2003, her focus shifted to a full-time private practice in Stockbridge, GA with Keystone Counseling Center. She began working with children, adolescents, and adults assisting with anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, trauma, abuse survivors, adjustment, ADHD/Behavior, and spiritual issues.
