Growing In Motion, LLC is a pediatric occupational therapy and speech therapy clinic located in central PA that seeks to provide families and children who have sensory, academic, motor, and social-emotional difficulties with highly specialized therapy services including Sensory integration therapy, motor planning, Handwriting without Tears(R), Astronaut training, reflex integration, sound therapies, and the DIR/Floortime(R) play therapy model.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive pediatric therapy solutions for children and families in south central Pennsylvania. Our clinic is a space where children are respected for the individuals they are today and are encouraged to achieve their goals for tomorrow. Our therapists have advanced training to meet the individual needs of each child that comes through the door.

Keith Parker opened Growing in Motion as he saw a need to provide occupational therapy services to older children (ages 3 and up) in the area. Keith also owns and operates the early intervention company, My Therapy Tree, which provides in-home therapy to children ages 0-3. He has advanced training working with children who have sensory processing difficulties and is certified in Sensory Integration Praxis Testing (SIPT).

Some children have difficulty taking in sensory information from their environments. They may be over-reactive to touch or sound. This sensory sensitivity can impact the way a child will engage with other children or learn in school. It's important to look at the seven senses of "touch, hearing, taste, smell, sight, movement processing, and body awareness" and how they effect how a child is doing at school and at home.
