D and J Kennels is a breeder of fine AKC Alaskan Malamutes and AKC Siberian Huskies. We also have exceptional Boarding Facilities for all breeds of dogs and cats; and offer Bathing Services. When we first opened, our only business was breeding. In 2002, we expanded D and J Kennels to include boarding and grooming.
I had been running the boarding operation at a local veterinary office and felt that the area the animals were kept in was too small, especially for larger breeds. I decided it was time to design a boarding kennel that would accommodate the needs of various sizes of dogs. As a result, our facilities have three separate sections for boarding dogs.

Our goal is to provide your pet a very caring and comfortable environment when you cannot be home. We strive to give your pet the same care and attention that we give our own pets, creating a place that's a home away from your home.
Breeding

All of our dogs and puppies have very good temperaments and are raised with our children and other pets; as a result they are socialized extremely well. We start socializing our puppies as early as two weeks old with the love and care our whole family can give. We have all colors, Black, Sable, Silver, Brown and White, so we are sure to please everybody with the variety we have.

Jack has clearances on his eyes, excellent hips, great confirmation, and excellent blood lines. Jack has a sweet personality although he is somewhat shy until you get to know him. Aurora is 51 pounds and the daughter of Cassie and Gage. She is a sweet silver and white female with bright blue eyes and great loving temperament.

The Siberian Husky, is a medium-sized working dog, quick and light on his feet and free and graceful in action. His moderately compact and well furred body, erect ears and brush tail suggest his Northern heritage.

The Alaskan Malamute, one of the oldest Arctic sled dogs, is a powerful and substantially built dog with a deep chest and strong, well-muscled body. The Malamute stands well over the pads, and this stance gives the appearance of much activity and a proud carriage, with head erect and eyes alert showing interest and curiosity.
