Overnight Camp
Report
Our week long Traditional Camp allows children to experience adventures in a safe, caring camp environment. Activities will enhance a camper's self esteem, confidence, and social skills. Children will live in an 10-12 camper cabin with at least two well-trained, responsible staff leaders. A positive, Christian setting is provided for the campers at all times with their own age levels.
Leadership Camps
Report
The LIT is a two week program designed for young men and women who have a drive to learn leadership skills. The first week is spent in leadership training. Through a series of group discussions, team building, initiatives, and challenge course participation we explore each camper's inner potential and leadership abilities.
Adventure Camp
Report
Welcome to six days of summer that you'll never forget! Because hanging out around the local pool can't compete with dangling 50 feet up, on a sheer rock face. Or careening down a churning whitewater river. Pack it up, everybody.
Sunday morning through Wednesday evening, you'll be offsite in West Virginia, where you'll experience an awesome combination of camping and whitewater rafting with Adventures on the Gorge, as well as, caving with Lost World Caverns. And once you're back at YMCA Camp Hanes, you'll get a kick out of more fun and challenging activities such as our Treetop Village, our Shotgun Range and our paintball course.
