John Mark Cavanagh, O.D., is a native of Minnesota who grew up in New Hope, Minnesota. After attending St. John's University for natural sciences, Dr. Cavanagh excelled in his doctorate program at the University of Houston's College of Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude while also being the Secretary of the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.

Michael Wieber grew up in St. Cloud and graduated with Highest Honors from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1967. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with degrees in physics and mathematics from St. John's University in 1971. He met a secretary in St. Cloud named Rita Fedor who became his wife and his optician.
