Rob began researching septic systems in 2008 during his career at the University of Georgia, after the system at his home repeatedly failed. Septic contractors only gave temporary fixes, and the problems lingered on. He successfully reconstructed his plumbing and septic system with the help of some friends, and he bought his first septic truck, Sweaty Betty, a 1975 Ford F-600 with a box tank.

Since then, Rob has built a reputation for SepticRooter as the leader in providing long-term solutions to septic system failure.
