Water Not Shutting Off

One of the most common service calls we get here at Milton Outdoors Sprinkler Repair is " our water won't shut off, we've turned the timer off and even unplugged it from the outlet". There's good news and bad news. The bad news is, its probably a bad diaphragm or bad solenoid and the water won't shut off until the valve is fixed.
Timers & Controllers

If its giving you an error message along with a number, its more than likely a faulty solenoid on that number station thats showing the error. Solenoids will short out over time, some short out sooner than later and will need to be replaced. The valve will need to be located to replace the solenoid.
Pumps

While most Irrigation systems originate at either a city water meter or a reclaimed water meter, a lucky few are able to run off a pump system. Whether you are using a shallow well with a centrifugal pump or deep well with submersible pump there a few things that should be considered. Is your system calibrated properly to the type and horsepower rating of your pump?
