The history of Julie's Park Cafe & Motel began in 1997 when Julie Giller purchased the upscale Black Locust Restaurant and converted it into the old-fashioned, family-friendly breakfast and lunch restaurant we know today as Julie's Park Cafe. Julie also remodeled the adjacent motel, then known as the Peninsula Motel, adding a new freshness to an old Door County establishment.
