In over 50 years of continuous operation our primary goal has been to always bring quality entertainment and education to the East Texas Region. For approximately twenty-five years, Athens Little Theatre operated under the direction of a totally volunteer Board of Directors and committees of workers who acted, designed and built sets, made costumes and did whatever was necessary to make the magic happen.
Athens Little Theatre became a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in 1980 and has operated as such since that time. Our mission statement is: We Entertain.

2021 Productions

Over the past year, theatre has changed and HCPAC has changed with it. We appreciate the support we received from our patrons and friends over the past year. And now we're back and looking forward to a great season of live theatre in 2021. Since we were only able to bring one show from the 2020 season to the stage, we are going to present the same shows that we had originally scheduled.

As part of our mission to provide educational opportunities - HCPAC welcomes volunteers in all aspects of our work. From board service to completing community service hours - we have just the spot for you. Volunteers not only paint, shop, sew, build, and create our excellent sets and costumes but they also answer phones, sell concessions and greet our guests with smiling faces.
