Seventy years ago, Elizabeth Scott became a pioneer in the long-term care industry when she began caring for residents in her converted farm home. Today, the Elizabeth Scott Community offers a continuum of care that includes Independent Living, two levels of Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Skilled Rehabilitation - all on a single campus.
As a family owned facility, our third- and fourth-generation owners work in our facilities every day. They provide a daily example of caring for our residents as if they were family members. We use a consistent staffing philosophy and assign the same nurses and nurse assistants to a specific area. This allows staff members to get to know each resident and their overall health.

Our Services
Report
The Elizabeth Scott Community offers multiple levels of care on a single campus that is located in a rural setting. For those who can move about and function with minimal personal care but require assistance with showering, housekeeping and maintenance. For people requiring some level of personal care, assistance with medications and moving about, and who require special diets.
Where To Begin
Report
Choosing the appropriate level of care for your loved one is an important decision. It is also important to make sure the facility you choose has multiple levels of care should the health care needs of your loved one change. We realize that cost can be a considerable concern for many families. We realize it is difficult to talk with a parent or loved one about leaving their home to seek daily care.
Our Community
Report
In 1949, Elizabeth Scott founded the Elizabeth Scott Community after having been involved in nursing care. She converted her rural farm home into a long-term care facility, serving as a true Pioneer to a fledgling industry at the time. Her simple philosophy, "To care for residents like they are family, " still serves as the driving force behind our care.
