Baseball card collecting connects fans with baseball players and gives the fan a sense of involvement in game. Collecting baseball cards has been a popular hobby for over 100 years. A collector has quite a selection of cards from which to collect. This can be confusing but it also offers freedom. In the end the choice of what you should collect is yours.
A theme or taste often guides a collector. Some collectors collect cards from a specific era or type or of a favorite player or team. Some collectors collect unusual or rare cards. Some collectors simply collect what fancies them at the moment. Some collectors change their focus over time, perhaps switching from 1950 Topps and Bowman to 1930s Goudey.

How to Sell Baseball Cards
Report
What We Want: We am interested in purchasing rookie cards, vintage cards (at least pre-1980, earlier preferred), serial numbered cards, certified autographed cards, short prints, and game used cards.
With the exception of certain notable rookie cards and a few sets that are particularly popular with collectors (i.e. 1992 Bowman), we are NOT generally interested in any cards from the 1980's or early 1990's, since we have multiple copies of most everything from those years. However, my needs change frequently and we are always willing to look at your list if you put the time into making it.

Vintage Grading Standards
Report
Our grading system is based on the guidelines published by Beckett. We have, however, made a few minor modifications, most notably in how we deal with off center cards. Grading is ultimately a subjective process, but we strive to be as consistent and strict in our gradings as is humanly possible. NMMT (nearmint-mint): Exceptionally high quality card.

2000 Utica Blue Sox
Report
15 years ago I speculated in buying minor league sets containing the first cards of promising first year professionals. This year the 2000 UTICA BLUE SOX TEAM SET has emerged from the dusty vault and conquered the market. Take a look at Ebay, I am offering my share of the lightly printed (about 3000) edition by offering them to my customers at a significant discount.
