Is your child shy? Or a ham? When I was a kid, I was both. I think many born-performers are like that; in everyday life, they're quiet observers of other people, but when they get onstage, the inner-goofball emerges. When I was in elementary school, I discovered that magic was a great way to showcase my goofiness.

The perfect blend of comedy, magic, audience participation and action. Every guest, regardless of age, sat in rapt attention (unless they were falling over in laughter). Patrick's participation in the show was truly the icing on the cake. My husband overheard one mother say to another "How are we ever going to top this birthday party?"
