At Modern Mitre, we are able to stretch canvas. Using stainless steel staples and strainer stock is the proper way to preserve, and at the same time prepare, the canvas to be framed in its final presentation. Most canvas art comes pre-stretched, but in a lot of cases when you go on vacation over-sea's you might have the opportunity to purchase a floppy, or rolled canvas from an art dealer.

Simply put, dry mounting is the technique of fastening a print, photograph, or the like to a board by using a heated thermoplastic material as an adhesive. This process has been done a multitude of ways over the last century. Thankfully we've reached a place where both archival and removable dry mounting are both a possible hurdle to leap.
