For nearly 25 years Maxwell's House of Music has been a premier source of music education. We serve the beginner who is picking up an instrument for the first time to the advanced musician who is looking to acquire new skills, ideas and techniques. We offer private lessons for nearly all stringed instruments, band & orchestra, voice, piano, drums and percussion, harmonica, songwriting, music theory, sound engineering and more!

Lora Anderson is a private instructor at Maxwell's House of Music. She has only worked there for a short time, but immediately fell in love with the staff and atmosphere! She currently teaches voice, but is capable of teaching piano, ukulele, and clarinet. She studied at University of Louisville and received her Bachelors in Music Education in 2016.

The goal of Rock School is to give the students performance opportunities and help them become better musicians and performers.
We have some of the most experienced and talented coaches which work with students on stage etiquette, filling the space during song transitions, what to do when a mic or amp goes out, how to interact with the audience, becoming familiar with setting up and tearing down a stage, set list building, dynamics, showmanship, and everything it takes to be a performing musician.
