We will open and perform a full check of your system and get you ready to irrigate your property. We can schedule openings any time after the danger of frost is gone and leave you ready to start your system when you feel the time is right. We will close your system and drain it of water to eliminate the risk of the system freezing over the winter and breaking crucial parts of the system.

Greenlawn exclusively uses Luxor lighting controls for their LED landscape lighting systems. Luxor offers both zoning and dimming capabilities that provides functionality beyond simply turning lights on and off, and virtually limitless design possibilities. Zoning allows lights to be programmed into preset themes, which can be activated for special occasions such as parties, or activities such as barbequing.

A standard controller is nothing more than a timer. When we open sprinkler systems in the spring, we set the times when irrigation should turn on and for how long it should run. We cannot be there every day to change those times based on weekly rainfall, temperature, or weather so we use settings that are good from April to late June.

We access and program the controllers through the internet. Each zone can be programmed differently with parameters such as Irrigation Method, Type of Sprinkler Head, Lawn or Plant Type, Slope of Ground, Type of Soil, Amount of Sun, Root Depth, and Effective Rain Fall. Once a day the controller receives weather data from the previous day and calculates zone watering times.
