The nose is subtle but intriguing in hints of ripe pear flesh, yeast and nuttiness. The rounded palate sweeps these notions up in its rich, smooth texture but guides them with an unfailing edge of zestiness. A lovely combination. Just north of the Danube, in Kamptal, resides the small family owned and run winery producing Brunn.

Our old friend Erin remarked on a previous vintage, "If you don't like this wine, you probably just don't like wine!" Well said! Farmed from just over 3ha. of 45+ year old, Biodynamically tended vines just outside of Bourgueil, completely natural/non-interventionist: all hand harvested, foot trodden, and spontaneously fermented (in cement tank - 6 months),.

Honey, white flowers, crushed rocks and lemon oil all come alive in this nicely chiseled, creamy yet vibrant Prosecco. Showcases gorgeous balance and plenty of early appeal, but also offers plenty of richness. In local dialect, the word "Garbel" expresses a satisfying sensation of freshness and pleasant lightness.
