Since 1996, The Art Haven has been a family-owned destination for art education in the Greater Greenville community. Founded by Susan Wilson and now co-led by her daughter Michelle Hyer, our studio provides expert-led classes in watercolor, graphite, oils, acrylics, pastels, and pottery. We prioritize small class sizes to ensure personalized instruction, fostering creativity for beginners and advanced artists alike. Our flexible scheduling includes weekly sessions and eight-week programs tailored for children, teens, and adults.Beyond formal classes, we host private art parties for special occasions, combining celebration with hands-on artistic exploration. Art Classes
We offer structured art instruction for all ages and skill levels. Our classes cover multiple mediums including watercolor, graphite, and acrylics. Sessions run weekly from August through May with flexible scheduling options. Small class sizes ensure personalized guidance for every student.
Pottery Workshops
Our pottery classes teach hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Eight-week sessions include all materials and firing fees. Available for children, teens, and adults with both daytime and evening options. Projects range from functional pieces to artistic sculptures.
Private Art Parties
Host customized art parties for birthdays or special events. Choose from painting, pottery, or mixed-media projects. Our instructors guide groups through creative activities while providing professional techniques. All supplies included with party packages starting at $270.
Multi-Media Courses
Explore various artistic techniques in single sessions. Students learn to combine different materials and methods for unique creations. Monthly classes available for $95 with prorated options for late enrollment. Supplies can be purchased separately.
Youth Art Programs
Specialized instruction for grades 1-5 focusing on foundational skills. Weekly 2-hour sessions teach drawing, painting, and basic sculpture. Summer programs and holiday workshops available. Classes emphasize creativity development in a supportive environment.

What age groups do you serve?
We offer classes for children (grades 1-5), teens (middle/high school), and adults with specialized instruction for each group.
Do you provide art supplies?
Supplies are not included in class fees but are available for purchase. Pottery classes include clay, glazes, and firing fees.
Can I join mid-session?
Prorated August enrollment available for $50. Limited make-up options exist within your registered session timeframe.
What class formats do you offer?
Weekly classes (August-May) and eight-week intensive sessions. Pottery courses include both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.
Do you host private events?
Yes! Custom art parties available for birthdays or group celebrations. Choose your preferred medium and we'll provide all materials and instruction.
What is your cancellation policy?
No refunds issued, but schedule changes within your session are permitted. Contact us to reschedule to an available time slot.
