We know that walking into a new office to meet with a therapist can be a little overwhelming. We make every effort to ensure your experience at Counseling Center of West Michigan is a positive one. At your first appointment, you will check in with our front desk receptionist who will greet you warmly and take a copy of your insurance card and ID.

I created Counseling Center of West Michigan with two primary goals in mind: to offer the best possible experience for our clients and the best possible work experience for our therapists, which allows them to focus on you, our clients. I hope that you find our support staff is ready to serve you and our therapists are ready to partner with you.

Counseling Center of West Michigan was founded in 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan by a therapist who couldn't find a desirable workplace in the area and thus decided to create one. After surveying over 200 private practice therapists, learning about their experiences in PP and their "wish list" for the ideal workplace, CCWM was born.
