Excellent eye health and optimal vision are our ultimate goals for you. A comprehensive examination means a complete evaluation to determine your level of seeing at both near and far distance as well as peripheral vision and depth perception checks. It will also include dilation which enables the doctor to clearly see the inside of your eye.

While serving the Upstate for over 40 years, Dr. Steven Nigh has earned the trust and respect of patients and colleagues alike. Dr. Steven gets to know his patients and engages them in such a way as to properly and accurately address their specific needs. Specializing in primary eye care and vision therapy, Dr. Steven has had the opportunity to transform many lives through dramatically improved eyesight, eye health and function.

She loves interacting with people in the office and in her free time she enjoys studying biology, drinking coffee and hanging out with friends and family (including her Grandaddy, Dr. Steven and her Uncle, Dr. David). Wendy has been with us since 2013. Having lived in Greenville her whole life, Wendy has a unique ability to connect with nearly all of our patients.

The Nigh Eye Group accepts a wide variety of insurance plans that cover regular eye exams and glasses prescriptions as well as contact lens fittings. When you call to make your appointment, please have the information for your vision insurance provider available to give us over the phone. This will allow us to serve you efficiently during your appointment and significantly reduce wait time.
