In 1977, Dr. Lewerenz and Dr. Welsh each opened separate individual practices in Salina. Wishing to provide the best service to their patients, they merged into one practice in 1998. Dr. Murphey joined the practice in 2000. In 2007, Dr. Lewerenz accepted a teaching position at the optometry school in Oklahoma and Dr. Zerger joined the practice.

Patients and potential patients do not need an appointment to meet with one of our eyewear specialists. On average, we have around 2,000 frames of various styles, shapes, and sizes available allowing us to fit everyone's needs. We offer eyewear and sun protection for all ages including Babiators, a sunglasses line dedicated to your little ones, ages newborn and up!
