My children are in their 8th and 9th year as students at Lyndon Academy. We were impressed with Lyndon from the start and were almost a little taken aback by how enthusiastically people were singing Lyndons praises. We thought it was too good to be true. We soon found out that the accolades were well-earned. My son embraced the Lyndon structure from his first introductory day. My daughter started the year after. Both of them have thrived in the Lyndon environment. Beginning in Kindergarten, children have specialized teachers for each subject and become accustomed to switching classes. The small

I am an employee, as well as a parent at Lyndon Academy. I was employed first. Although I did not have any issues with Cherokee County schools, I decided to enroll my daughter at Lyndon. I was worried because of the challenge it would be for her to catch up with the pace. The teachers were very involved and patient, and offered needed tutoring. This is her second year, she's in 5th grade, and she has made honor roll every quarter! She is in band, she's learning a new language, she absolutely loves it here. She will be entering middle school with the academic and social development she needs to

My child was 3 years 7 months old when had a shadow / try-out day at Lyndon for the first time in. When I was picking him up, Mrs. Murdock informed me that he was ready to start pre-K. I was happy to hear it, but thought he was a little too young; he would not even be four when school started. Next year we were there for a full-day visit again, but Mrs. Murdock said that my son was not ready? How can he be ready at 3.5, but not ready at 4.5? I was puzzled to say the least. Then I remembered that Mrs. Murdock inadvertently told me that there were still 5 'spots' available to fill in pre-K previous
