I am a maternity & newborn fine art portrait photographer located in Charleston, South Carolina. I am obsessed with capturing what is easily one of the MOST special moments in a person's life. The time in which we are planning for and welcoming a new baby to our expanding family is short lived, but together we can preserve these most valued moments forever.

My Story

I started my photography journey in 2011 with a focus on families and high school seniors. While I thoroughly enjoyed it, I didn't feel fulfilled; something was missing. I knew I loved photography and continued down my path until I had my son in 2017. In preparing for the baby, I also set out to learn about all things newborn photography so I could take his photos when he was born and BOY-OH-BOY!

I typically recommend scheduling your maternity session for a date near your 34th week of pregnancy. This is a perfect time for you and your bump before you become too uncomfortable. Of note, maternity sessions are reserved for clients who have booked a newborn session. Maternity sessions are scheduled Monday - Thursday Evening approximately one hour prior to sunset.

Had our newborn session with Brooke in November of 2019. Our premie baby had just come out of a 2 month NICU stay and I was terrified to let anyone touch him. Brooke was a total pro! We were so at ease and the pictures were amazing. I don't know how she got him to just sleep the entire time! We have a family session next week and I can't wait!

We have had three sessions with Brooke: engagement photos, gender reveal photos, and then maternity photos. She is absolutely amazing to work with and her photos are of the highest quality. During each session, she made us feel so comfortable; it really felt like hanging out with family. She is professional, has an excellent eye for style, and knows what she is doing behind the camera. I recently had my maternity photo shoot with Brooke from Belly to Baby. We had to change locations at the last minute due to rain in Charleston which is very normal. Brooke was very helpful and accommodating.
We met at the park and she brought the dress I had recently tried on and loved. She had so many options for dresses it was difficult to pick but I made a great choice.
