Opus Music School aims to provide high quality and affordable private music lessons to beginner, intermediate, and advanced students. We offer private piano lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons, and more. We like to have fun while teaching music! Opus Music School is one of 9 music schools in the United States nominated for the 2020 National Music School of the Year.

Note: Due to recent high demand, we now have very limited in-person spots available, particularly during peak hours such as weekdays 3-6pm and Saturdays. All of us here at Opus Music School are so excited to announce that we are now fully reopened for in-person lessons! With the help of our students, staff and new safety protocols we're back and better than ever!
Private Lessons

We are accepting new students! Our one-on-one online lesson format ensures students can receive a customized lesson plan tailored to their pace of learning. Private lesson students are eligible to participate in our recitals and performance opportunities, such as our Opus Summer Tour to Carnegie Hall.
Group Piano Classes

My First Piano Adventure is a fun online piano group class using the world-renowned and best-selling piano method by Nancy and Randall Faber. This is an interactive online piano class where students learn from a live teacher and video chat with other students in real time through weekly Zoom lessons.

We have many adult students who take lessons with us and our teachers have experience working with and guiding adults to their musical goals. Our one-on-one online lesson format ensures students can receive a customized lesson plan tailored to their pace of learning. Our music teachers start from the basic music reading techniques and learning how to play your instrument with the correct technique.
Student Events

It features students of Opus Music School performing via audition only on an outdoor stage, carnival games, entertainment performers, community and food vendors, and local sponsors. Since our annual Opus recital that typically occurs every January will likely not be able to occur this year, we are happy to announce that our private students will be given a video recording session opportunity!
