First and foremost, we at the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy are on a crusade to remind everyone that Massage Therapy is an art form. Massage Therapy is not a technical skill in itself, and only utilizes technique as one tool along with many other cultivated skills in order to meet the needs of our clientele and express the art of bodywork in a fluid and creative way.

We are the minority, championing the "old school" approach to massage therapy education while integrating professional evolution.
